Magnetism and Topology
Experimental Condensed Matter Physics
About Me
I am currently a research fellow in Ping Koy Lam's group, which is part of Q.Inc, QTE and CQT.

My research interests are in condensed matter systems where
-
non-trivial topology co-exists with magnetic order,
-
novel order parameters are driven by simultaneous time- and spatial-inversion symmetry breaking and
-
rare-earth ions have ultra long coherence times
I investigate the structures and excitations of these crystalline materials with neutrons, X-rays and optical spectroscopy.
Masters projects in the general area of magnetic topological materials and multiferroics are currently available. Contact me below for more information.
Formerly, I was a post-doctoral researcher in the Laboratory for Quantum Magnetism of EPFL. Prior to that, I was a member of the Boothroyd group in the university of Oxford. I was also a tutor at St Anne's college for the 3rd year condensed matter physics course.
